Symptoms

Using HFMAuditExtractUtility version 11.1.1.0.2.013 or earlier with IBM DB2 RDBMS Version 9 will give the following error:

"Failed to return a list of applications using database provided. 
SQL: 
Error: Unknown (-2147467259) "

Cause

HFMAuditExtractUtilty version 11.1.1.0.2.013 or earlier does not support IBM DB2 v9 RDBMS

Solution

HFMAuditExtractUtility version 11.1.2.2303 and above supports IBM DB2 version 9 RDBMS. HFMAuditExtractUtility v11.1.2.2303 is zipped and provided as a Service Fix (SF) in from the Oracle Support Portal.
