Symptoms

Unable to Drill Through to FDM from Smart View
Getting the following errors when trying to drill through from Excel.

SmartView is using the wrong port number in the URL, instead of using 19000 it is using port 80 for HyperionFDM along with the Workspace server name in the URL.  Workspace is on port 19000 not port 80
The error below is returned:
Server Error in '/' Application.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The resource cannot be found.
Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.  Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly.

Requested URL: /HyperionFDM/AuthorizedPages/IntersectionSummaryByLocation.aspx

Cause

When adding the Hyperion Provider URL to connect to the HFM Application the Provider URL is being specified with port 80.  In order for FDM to properly re-direct through the workspace the port of 19000 must be specified in the provider URL.  This will use port 19000 in the URL that is generated for the drill through report from smart view back to the workspace and in return back to FDM to display the intersection summary page.

Solution

A) Launch Excel and click on the "Hyperion" menu item
B) Click the "Connect" button
C) Choose "Independent Provider Connections" in the Smart View Data Source Manager
D) Choose to Add a URL Provider
E) Select the type of "Hyperion Provider" and enter http://workspaceserver:19000/hfmofficeprovider/hfmofficeprovider.aspx
F) Expand the Servers > Select the HFM Cluster > HFM Application and click "next"
G) Enter a valid username/password and provide a name for the connection
H) Connect using the provider and double-click in a cell to return the POV Selection pane
I) Change the POV to the intersection that was loaded by FDM
J) Right-Click on the cell and choose "Drill through Reports"

The FDM Intersection Summary by Location page will be returned with the proper source data.
