Symptoms

Error: "Class not registered" when going into Database and Data Entry modules.

Changes

• Installed new version of Hyperion Enterprise.
• Changed path variable for workstation.
• Moved Hyperion Enterprise program files to a different folder.

Cause

A compatible version of the HELOGENG.DLL file cannot be found or has not been registered properly with the Microsoft Windows operating system.

Solution

To fix this error, find where the HELOGENG.DLL is located (should be in the Hyperion Enterprise programs directory) and register it with the Microsoft Windows operating system.
