Users unable to access Workspace or Smart View after password reset

Merlin were experienicng issues where several users over a period of time would not be able to access either Worksapce or Smart View. From a setup pooint of view, application perspective all was ok.

 

We noticed that the DCOM confi for "Connect and Identify" was not switched on for one of the applciation servers.

 

This server also assisted with the authentication.

 

Once switched on users were able to access the system.

Yes I remember it was only a few users. As it was only when users would reset their passwords I just wondered if there was anyone we had specifically tested with.

You have a large user base so not the easiest.

I will close the ticket now as request. However let me know if you have any issues.

As mentioned last week the setting we switched on assists with the users credentials over the Domain.

Not yet on that bit. The thing was it wasn’t all users. So it would mean a large sample size. I suggest we close that ticket for the moment and we can re-open if it comes back again.
