Error "Error Number:5 Error Description:Invalid procedure call or argument" when changing scenario in Process Management module

Following error occurs when changing scenario via the Member Selector in the Process Control module.

An error has occurred. Please contact your administrator.

Cause

This is caused by unpublished bug 7451583, when you have two scenarios with similar beginning named labels
e.g. Forecast and ForecastMonths

When the end user has access to ForecastMonths but not Forecast, or vice versa, the Process Control module will generate this error.

Solution

The issue is fixed in HFM 9.2.1.2.00,  patch 825978.  Patch 8259789 needs to be applied over 9.2.1.1.00 and needs to run on all servers in a distributed environment.

1. If needed, upgrade to 9.2.1, available on http://edelivery.oracle.com/ under the "Hyperion Performance Management and BI" Product Pack

2. If needed, apply 9.2.1.1.00, patch 7457993

3. Apply 9.2.1.2.00, patch 825978
