Symptoms

When selecting the import screen for a SAP adapter location receiving the error message "Invalid Key: File Prompt"

Cause

This often seems to occur when the application is imported- an extra hidden line is created in the import format which means it doesn't work correctly .This can be seen as a small dark box in the details of the import format on the left hand side.

Solution

A) Choose Metadata > Import Formats

B) Click on the import format in the top pane and click the "Delete" button

C) Click "Update Grid"

D) Re-create the import format by clicking "Add" to re-add the import format, enter the name, Description, Type, and Delimiter and update the grid

E) In the bottom-pane re-create the import format.
