Steps to complete disabling/ enabling "always warn when client version is newer" setting.

STOP IIS SERVICE AT SERVER LEVEL

1)Launch EPM Configurator

2)Expand HFM Related Components and Select only "Configure Web Server"

3)Click Next and Select Only "configure IIS to Enable Smartview provider" (You can also keep the other selected if you do not intend to change anything).

4)Click Next and Select "Advanced Options"

5)Uncheck the Option "always force client to upgrade" and "always warn when client version is newer" depending on your need.

6)Click Next and Finish the Configuration and restart the IIS.

7)Reboot the Web Server.
