Symptoms

When importing GL data from a flat file the import process fails.  The error message that is returned to the end user states:
Error:  An error occurred importing the file:  File not found
RDMS Bulk Load Error
(53) -File not found

Cause

The Oracle Database Utilities portion of the Oracle Client, which includes the Oracle SQL LOADER was not installed on the FDM application server in the environment.

Solution

a) Launch the Oracle Client installer on the FDM Application Server

b) Choose to perform a "Custom" installation

c) In the component selection screen check the "Database Utilities" check box which contains the SQL Loader utility.

d) Complete the on-screen instructions to install the component.

**Note: The component should be installed to the same location that the Oracle client is currently installed
