Oracle Financial Data Quality Management ERP Integration Adapter for Oracle - Version: 11.1.1.3.00 to 11.1.1.3.00 - Release: 11.1 to 11.1Information in this document applies to any platform.
Purpose
Financial Data Quality Management has the ability to leverage many different adapters. This is used to facilitate in the functionality called "Adapter by Location" that FDM has introduced since the 9.3.x release.This note will cover the setup and configuration that is required.
Questions and Answers
How to create multiple ERPi-FIN-A adapters
- Launch the FDM Workbench
- Log into the appropriate FDM Application
- Navigate down to the Source Adapters
- Right Click the Adapter and choose "Copy"
- Provide a name starting with "ERPI"
How to configure the new Adapter Settings
- Right click the newly copied adapter and choose "Options"
- Set the Data Rule name
- Set the Default Dimension Members
- Set the Default Dimension Values
How to configure the new Adapter inside of FDM Web
- Launch the FDM Web Interface
- Log into the appropriate application
- Create the "Periods" in the Control Tables (Metadata > Control Tables) for the copied adapter
- Navigate to the "Categories" for the copied adapter
Although they are not defined/needed, the "blank entries" which are required are not generated until you navigate to that screen. Failure to do this step causes the following error in the Web-Interface with an error in the User-Log.
