Symptoms


Receive the error messages below loading the ads file during Dimension Import:

"500 -- Internal Server Error"

In logs see the error below:

"ERROR org.apache.struts.upload.CommonsMultipartRequestHandler - Failed to parse multipart request
org.apache.commons.fileupload.FileUploadException: Processing of multipart/form-data request failed. C:\DOCUME~1\user1\LOCALS~1\Temp\1\user1\servers\EPMAWebServer\tmp\_WL_user\awb\user1\public\upload_00000008.tmp (The system cannot find the path specified)"

Cause

The TEMP and TMP variables are not defined in the Environment Variables for the "user1" that was used to start the services.

Solution


Log in to the server with the user "User1" and set the environment variable for TEMP and TMP by following the navigation

My Computer > Properties > Advanced > Environment Variables

Reboot the server after that.
