Symptoms

Unable to unlock the data.

Cause

Determined the cause to be a parent entity lock issue.We can unlock the base entity only after unlocking the parent.

As per procedure we have to unlock the parent and then the base entity.

Solution

To resolve this take the following steps.

1) Create a parent entity list .

2) Create a base entity list.

3) Unlock the data using the parent entity list and then unlock using the base entity ilst.
