Member Formula on Planing Period Dimension not Working [ID 865192.1]

Symptoms

When a formula with substitution variables is added in Planning period dimension and Planning application is refreshed, the member formula is not saved on the Essbase Outline. 

Cause

There is a known issue with the

BUG 7480838– When you create a member formula for a Period dimension member, that formula might not display the next time you start Planning 

Solution

bug /This is fixed in the Planning SF 9.3.1.1.9 

You can apply the SF or a later one that includes it 9.3.1.1.1.9
