Symptoms
When expanding a hierarchy in the Member Selector dialog, an error appears: "ADF_FACES-60097:For more information, please see the server's error log for an entry beginning with: ADF_FACES-60096:Server Exception during PPR, #2".
Cause
No member was selected prior to expanding the hierarchy and drilling down several levels. Bug 31536182 was created for this.
Solution
Before drilling into the hierarchy in the Member Selector dialog, first select a member.

This document can be found on the Oracle Support Dashboard. However, when resolving the error for a client, clearing <app>_USERPARAMS for user(s) fixed the error.
