Symptoms

Export of Web Form to Excel fails with error if certain non default thousands and decimal separators are used.

Following error appears in Excel when opening the exported Web Form:"Problems came up in the following areas during load: Table".

Cause

Issue caused by defect 8649327 in version 11.1.1.2 - WDEF WITH CERTAIN DECIMAL AND THOUSANDS SEPARATORS CAN'T BE EXPORTED TO EXCEL

Solution

Web Forms can only be exported correctly to Excel if default thousands (comma) and decimal (point) separators are used.

This issue is fixed in version HFM 11.1.2.
