Applies to:
Hyperion Financial Data Quality Management - Version: 11.1.2.0.00<max_ver> and later [Release: 11.1 and later ]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
When trying to add a newly provisioned user in FDM, the following error message is displayed:"Error: This application is not registered with Shared Services. Please use the FDM User Migration Utility to register this application.
Detail: InnerException1: EnumPrincipals():"
Cause
The users have been provisioned through groups rather than directly at user level.Group provisioning is not supported in this release and will cause problems.
Solution
To resolve and correctly set provisioning, please do the following:1. Log in to Shared Service console
2. De-provision the group of any FDM roles (at this stage you may want to use the reporting functionality of Shared Services to make sure that all group provisioning is correctly removed)
3. Provision FDM role directly to the user
Note:
An enhancement request has been lodged with the FDM development team to support group provisioning in a future release
