Multiloads From FDM to Hyperion Enterprise Do Not Kick Off the Logic/Calculations

Multiloads From FDM to Hyperion Enterprise Do Not Kick Off the Logic/Calculations

  Modified 19-APR-2010     Type PROBLEM

Applies to:

Hyperion Financial Data Quality Management - Version: 8.0.5.0.00 to 11.1.1.1.00 - Release: 8.0 to 11.1

Generic Windows

Symptoms

When importing a multiload file into FDM which then exports and loads to Enterprise, the logic/calculations are not being executed in Enterprise.

Cause

The target system load tags within the multiload file were not set correctly.

Solution

1) Open the Multiload Template file

2) Update the Target System Load Tags as outlined in the FDM Web Client Admin guide.  These tags are outlined in Chapter 15 (Importing Other Data Files) under the section "Multiload Files", Hyperion Enterprise Load Control Tags (multiload).

3) Update the Target System Load Tags as appropriate and save the template.

Reload the template into FDM and Export/Load the data to Enterprise.  Verify the load is correct in Enterprise.
