After Logging Into FDM Receive Error: "Server Error in /HyperionFDM Application

Symptoms

Can not log on to FDM on the web.  Receiving Error: "Server Error in /HyperionFDM Application" 

Cause

The ASP.NET state server service is not started on the FDM Web Server.

Solution

Start ASP.NET state server service. 

1. Start -> Run -> type 'Services.msc' -> Enter

2. Locate the ASP.NET State Server Service

3. Right-click and choose properties and change Startup from Manual to Automatic

4. Click Start button

5. Click OK
