No Groups Show Up After Selecting Refresh Key When Trying to Import Users for External Authentication in Hyperion Enterprise

Symptoms

Setting up External Authentication in Hyperion Enterprise.
No groups show up after selecting the Refresh key when trying to import external users.

Cause

Incorrect syntax for the APP_CSS_CONFIG_FILE line in the <applicationname>.INI file

Solution

Open the <applicationname>.INI file and change the following line:

FROM: APP_CSS_CONFIG_FILE="file:///D:/hyperion/Enterprise/msad.xml"

TO:   APP_CSS_CONFIG_FILE="file:///\\D:/hyperion/Enterprise/msad.xml"

Note the direction of the slashes. The information in double quotes is the location of the XML file configured for External Authentication for the Enterprise application
