Symptoms

Multiple product versions listed in drop down when logging into Hyperion Enterprise Reporting.

Changes

Recently upgraded from one version of Hyperion Enterprise to another.

Cause

The REPENG.INI has not been cleared of references to prior versions.

Solution

The DRIVERS32 section of the REPENG.INI file is updated with each new install of Hyperion Enterprise.  Prior entries are not automatically removed.  Simply remove the older version drive references or comment them out.  They will then no longer appear to users in the dropdown options of the login screen.

The REPENG.INI file can be found on each user's PC in the WINNT directory or in their home directory on a Citrix server.
