Symptoms

Hyperion Retrieve add-in appears twice in the Microsoft Excel > Tools > Add-Ins.

Cause

Hyperion Retrieve appears twice in Excel > Tools > Add-ins if both Retrieve add-ins are selected.

Solution

• Open an Excel Sheet and go to Tools Add-ins and confirm both Add-ins have been selected.
• Decide which add-in is needed either rhxll32.xll or heretrv.xla
• Deselect the undesired add-in 
• The add-in will be cleared and now only the needed add-in will be listed
