Symptoms
When trying to export artifacts for a Planning application it fails with error:
Error "EPMLCM-30054: Failed to connect "http://:19000/HyperionPlanning/servlet/HspLCMServlet" while performing export for application - "". Received status code - "500" with error message - "Internal Server Error". Possible cause of error Server Down or Not reachable."
Similar error will occur during IMPORT activity as well. This can be related to all the artifacts exported of any Product on Shared services.
Cause
During LCM activity, Shared services uses the TEMP space on the Shared services server. The drive configured for the TEMP was full. LCM was failing as it could not find enough disk space to perform the migration.
Solution
1. Clear the unwanted files in the drive where the TEMP folder is configured (check the Environment Variable on the Windows) OR increase the Drive size where the TEMP folder is configured.
2. Restart the Foundation Services.
