Symptoms
When deleting a member from Planning via ODI using Oracle source tables an error was signalled from the Oracle database but the columns in the ODI Model matched those of the table:ORA-01747 invalid user.table.column, table.column, or column specification
Cause
One of the column names in the Oracle source table used an Oracle reserved word. In this case there was a column named 'UPDATE' when the column name was changed to 'UPDT' it worked fine.Solution
Check the Oracle Database SQL Reference for the version of Oracle that is being used to see if any of the column names are on the list of Reserved Words. If any of the column names are on this list then rename the column.
